I've been seeing rumors floating around the past few days relating to the line-up of the Series 4 Collectible Minifigures. The most recent rumors seem to stem from the website of a Dutch toy store that hosted many of the recently released 2011 set pics. The 'rumored' line-up includes the following:
- The Monster
- Surfing Girl
- Sailor
- Kimono Girl
- Punk
- Viking
- Speed Skater
- Hockey Player
- Skateboarder
- Man in Safety Suit
- Musketeer
- Werewolf
- Artist
- Mad Professor
- Football Player
- Garden Gnome
Although these 'sound' feasible, I'm still skeptical. I saw someone post a similar list on Flickr that had some of these names listed, but different descriptions for others.
Yes, it's been stated that TLG has designs in place up through Series 5, so it is possible these could have leaked from somewhere in the design/supply chain. Even the themes make sense given what we have seen in the first three series (sports themes, monster figs, Asian themes, etc.) You could even see some past elements being recycled (the beret for The Artist, the new surfboard, etc.) We will never know, however, until the pictures actually surface, and I wouldn't expect those to show up until at least January or February when Toy Fair season is in full swing.
