LEGO Collectible Minifigure Series 3: The Fisherman

The Fisherman is exclusive to set 8803, The Collectible Minifigure Series 3.

Minifigure Parts and Accessories
The Fisherman is composed of five main parts: stocking cap, head, beard, torso, and legs.

The stocking cap is a dark blue variant of part 41334, a new color for this part.

The head print is new and even features a white beard. Strange given the beard element that comes with it.

The beard is a new part in white. The attachment is via the head post.

The torso and arms are blue with yellow hands. The torso print resembles an yellow-orange pair of fishing coveralls.

The legs and hips are yellow-orange with no visible print.

There are two accessories that come with this figure - a black fishing pole and a sand green fish. The fishing pole is a new part, while the fish is in a new color.

Army Building Potential
The ABP for the figure is low - outside of filling out a series 3 collection, this figure is not likely to be sought in multiples.

Feeling It Out
The fishing pole should be easy to identify by feeling it through the bag.

Bar Codes
Unlike previous series of collectible minifigures, there will be no secondary bar codes to help determine what figure is inside. However, there are a series of 'bumps' on the bottom of the packages that can be used to identify the contents (LEGO Series 3 Collectible Minifigure Codes). These codes were provided courtesy of FBTB.net and Rick Theroux.

The Big Draw
Due to the uniqueness of the fishing pole, it may have an attraction. The fish and stocking cap in new colors might be of interest. This biggest draw here may be the new beard design.
