LEGO Collectible Minifigure Series 3: The Space Villain

The Cyborg (or Space Villain) is exclusive to set 8803, The Collectible Minifigure Series 3.

Minifigure Parts and Accessories
The Villain is composed of four main parts: helmet, head, torso, and legs.

The helmet is a black variant of part 87781 with a yellow visor. This a new color for this part which has only been available in dark blueish gray and white previously.

The head print is new with the right eye is replaced by a cybernetic prosthetic. His teeth are also silver/metallic.

The torso assembly is the same as The Series 1 Robot, with one robotic arm and one regular one. The torso print is metallic armor with a greening yellow Blacktron II insignia. There also appears to be a belt right above the hips. As with other collectible minifigures there's not likely to be print on the back of the torso.

The hips are black as well as the left leg, but the right leg is a pear dark bley peg leg. This hip and leg assembly is most similar to that seen on the Mad Eye Moody minifigure.

The accessory that comes with this figure is a black variant of the zap gun that came with the Series 1 Spaceman. This would be a new color for this part. There's also a 3L trans red bar that represents the laser beam.

Army Building Potential
The ABP for the figure is high. An army of cyborg warriors make perfect sense, also there are several parts that could be sought after in multiples.

Feeling It Out
This will be difficult as there aren't many distinctive parts to feel through the polybag. The helmet and gun may be the best bets.

Bar Codes
Unlike previous series of collectible minifigures, there will be no secondary bar codes to help determine what figure is inside. However, there are a series of 'bumps' on the bottom of the packages that can be used to identify the contents (LEGO Series 3 Collectible Minifigure Codes). These codes were provided courtesy of FBTB.net and Rick Theroux.

The Big Draw
The helmet in previous colors have been quite popular (Neo-Blacktron, anyone?). The head and zap guns will likely be hot items too. The torso will also add a nice new sci-fi print to the official cannon. OK...the whole darn thing is a draw. Expect this to be highly sought after by collectors and customizers.
