Minifigure Parts and Accessories
The Rapper is composed of four main parts: hat, head, torso, and legs.
The hat is a new baseball cap design in black with gold print. The logo is a black minifigure head with gold eyes.
The head print is new with a thin beard and white rimmed sunglasses. The teeth are gold and there are two lines 'shaved' into the right eyebrow.
The torso is white with yellow arms and hands, likely to signify a muscle shirt or tank. The torso print has a medallion hanging down the front of the torso with a dollar sign on it. There is no print on the back of the torso.
The legs and hips are sand blue with print that resembles low riding jeans with pockets and a belt. The top of his underwear starts at the hips.
The accessories that come with this figure are a 'boom box' radio and gold microphone. There's print on the front of the radio for the dials, while a handle extends from the top to be held in the minifig's hand. The speakers are actually textured. There are tubes on the bottom of the radio for connections and two studs on the top.
The tip of the microphone is gold, while the handle is black. The mold is likely the same as the one that appeared with the Series 2 Pop Star.

Army Building Potential
The ABP for the figure is low - outside of filling out a series 3 collection, this figure is not likely to be sought in multiples.
Feeling It Out
The 'boom box' should be easy to identify by feeling it through the bag.
Bar Codes
Unlike previous series of collectible minifigures, there will be no secondary bar codes to help determine what figure is inside. However, there are a series of 'bumps' on the bottom of the packages that can be used to identify the contents (LEGO Series 3 Collectible Minifigure Codes). The printed baseball cap and the boom box are the likely draws here due to the fact that they are new parts. The microphone might have appeal given the new tip color and that it's only appeared in previous Collectible Minifig series.
