Parts and Accessories
The Hockey Player is composed of five main parts - helmet, head, torso, body gear and legs.
The helmet is a new part (93560) in dark blue. The face mask/visor is a new part and can be maneuvered up or down.
The torso and arms are dark blue with black hands. There is no torso print, because the printing appears on the body gear for this fig. The body gear is part 47577 in dark blue. There's white print on the front and back of the body gear. The front of the body gear has the image of a wolf.
The legs and hips are dark blue with white print around the knees to represent pads.
There are quite a few accessories that come with this figure. You have a pair of flat sliver skate blades. These are a new part and are only shared currently with the Series 4 Ice Skater. There is a stud on the top of the skates which allow them to attach at the minifigure's feet. This figure can also stand on the skates when the legs are straight.
There's also a new hockey stick part in white with a single connection point on the end of the handle. The stick tapers flat as it moves down to the blade. Finally there's a black 1x1 round standing in for a hockey puck.

Whether he’s chasing the puck across the rink or guarding his team’s home goal, he’s dedicated to one thing and one thing alone: winning the game!
No one’s faster or tougher on the ice than this ferocious fellow, and no one’s more loyal to his team, either. Rival players have learned not to get too close to the Hockey Player when he’s ‘in the zone.’ Why’s that? Let’s just say that the cage on his helmet isn’t only for his own protection!
Army Building Potential
The ABP for this figure is moderate to high. A few head changes and you have a whole team (but as Hillel would say, where's the other team?!).
Feeling It Out
I would try feeling for the body gear and hockey stick.

The Big Draw
I think the entire figure is the draw here. The helmet may offer up some custom potential when matched with other visors, but the other items are so specific it's hard to rate them individually.
