LEGO Star Wars Minifigures: Injured Anakin Skywalker

LEGO Star Wars Injured Anakin SkywalkerNow Showing
This version of Anakin is a reissue of a 2005 minifigure (sw139). This 2010 update comes with set 8096, Emperor Palpatine's Shuttle.

Minifigure Parts and Accessories
Injured Anakin comes as four parts, Vader helmet, head, torso, and legs.

The flesh-tone head has new printing that shows all the damage from his fight on Mustafar. The torso print also shows a significant battle scars (Is that seared flesh I see?). The left arm and hand are flesh colored, while the entire right arm and hand assembly are black. The legs are basic black.

The accessories for Anakin are a Darth Vader helmet and lightsaber. The helmet and Anakin interact with the major feature of the play set, the transformation of Anakin into Vader...or at least the part when the helmet goes on his head. With these early pics, its difficult to tell if the helmet design has been updated in some way or if its a reissue of part 30368.

The lightsaber appears to be standard issue with trans-red blade. The lightsaber is not shown in pack shots, but two sabers come with the set and there's built in storage in the model.

Army Building Potential
The ABP for this figure is low. The head might be sought after for custom zombies, but otherwise there are no parts that would be sought after in multiples.

Big Draw
The big draws, if any, are the new head and torso prints. Outside of this...not much.
