LEGO Star Wars Minifigures: Bronze Boba Fett

LEGO Star Wars Bronze Boba Fett MinifigureNow Showing
This bronze version of sw002 is the second Boba Fett promotional figure to have been released this year. The first was the white Boba Fett promo (sw275) that was handed out to attendees at the 2010 US Toy Fair. There are currently only 2 of these bronze minifigs in existence. One will be auctioned off as part of the "May the Force be with You" promo at LEGO Shop@Home May 3rd and 4th, 2010. You must purchase a LEGO Star Wars item at Shop@Home on these days, or submit a postcard with postmark on the 3rd or 4th to the address on the website to be eligible (see site for details).

Minifigure Parts and Accessories
It's unknown at this time if the figure will come as one solid piece or if it has the ability to be disassembled into its component parts. The last minifig promo to have this treatment was the gold plated C-3PO (sw158) that was released in conjunction with the 30th Anniversary of the original Star Wars film. That figure did come in component parts. Its assumed that the Boba Fett figure is bronze plated, and should come in the same four parts as sw002: head, torso, legs, and helmet/jet pack combo.

It has not been revealed if the figure will come with a bronze blaster as well.

Army Building Potential
Ha! Unless you are trying to build an army of one (or two) in this case...

Big Draw
The big draw here is bragging rights and rarity. There were 150 white Boba Fett figures handed out at the 2010 US Toy Fair. Only two have been sold via BrickLink, and went for values between $500 and $600 USD. Expect this figure to have the potential to go for much higher amounts if sold. The LEGO.com lists the figure as having an approximate value of $150 USD.
