Bricks in Motion announced today that the 2011 contest will be Toy Tales of Yore. Entrants are asked to tell a story with a historical bent. Entries may be based on actual events, include historical settings, people, and/or events as central elements of the story.
You will have some time to create your entry as the contest deadline is July 17th, 2011. It seems like a lot, but given the amount of time that can go into a few seconds of a brickfilm, I wouldn't procrastinate.
Prizes from the contest include a license for Dragon Stop Motion software, 2010 Advent Sets, a USB microphone and a prize pack from BrickArms.
While you are debating what to base your next brickfilm on, you can check out Zach Macias' entry to the BiM Twenty-Four Hour challenge - Treasure Hunter. Enjoy!
