After The Dust Clears - April 1st, 2010

Good morning citizens.

In scanning the interwebs this morning I found out that both LEGO Tron and Duplo Hello Kitty, were in fact, April Fools Day jokes.

I'm all for silly fun when it's clearly a farce, but a lot of people over at Eurobricks were excited by the potential of a Tron line. What made the prank well crafted was the fact that Disney does have a renewed relationship with LEGO, as seen in the Prince of Persia and Toy Story releases. Alas, it is not to be...

There were several others floating around the AFOL community that we didn't post, but I would say the most heinous was committed by FBTB.net. For shame, gentlemen. For shame...
