Mariann's Model Building Secrets blog has posted Hillel Cooperman's talk on the LEGO Collectible Minifigure phenomenon. Hillel has spoken on many LEGO topics at other venues before, like TED. The discussion is both humorous and full of good ideas for the folks in Billund.
I recommend taking 15 minutes out of your day and giving it a listen; however, there's some language (hey, it was an AFOL convention after all), so viewer discretion is advised.
