New Pics of LEGO Alien Conquest and Ninjago Spinners

Just as I suspected...website Mikado Spieleland also has new hi-res images of LEGO Alien Conquest as well. We get a good look at that new gun design and nice close ups on the minifigures.

I was also able to confirm that the new Ninjago spinner sets have pics up too. Although the pictures aren't quite as good, you do get a sense of what the new Sensei Wu, Kruncha, and Wyplash will look like.

You can see more of Alien Conquest and Ninjago on Mikado Spieleland.

LEGO Alien Conquest - UFO Abduction

Thanks to Grogall, we now have one of the first official pictures of the LEGO Alien Conquest sets. This is a pic of set 7052, Alien Abduction.

If you've see the video from Joe Meno, you'll know that this is the set that used the light brick and flexible arms to 'abduct' other minifigs.

The alien fig looks great with his sinister underbite and big eyes. It's difficult to make out the print on the torso and legs, but it looks like it has promise. It would also seem that we'll have plenty of the zap guns from the Collectible Minifig series.

I can't wait to see more official pics of these great sets! Thanks again to Grogall for passing these along.

Personal Tour of LEGO Alien Conquest at AIT

It's official...I'm very excited for the new LEGO Alien Conquest line due this August. Joe Meno of BrickJournal just uploaded a video tour through each set by Master Model Builder Erik Varzegi. Thanks Joe!

LEGO Alien Conquest Brain Suckers

A few weeks back there were confidential photos of the LEGO Alien Conquest sets. In those pics there were shots of a new alien 'brain sucker' that fit over the top of a standard minifigure head. I didn't come across any photos of this in the pics from the Nurnberg International Toy Festival; however, thanks to Peer Kreuger, and his photoshop skills, we have a image that gives you a sense of what to expect.

I've also seen mention of an 'abduction feature' and 'autopsy themes' in play sets. Alien Conquest is shaping up to be the major non-licensed play theme coming this summer!

LEGO Series 5 Collectible Figs and More

Only hours after rumors of the Series 5 Collectible Minifigures surfaced, we now have a picture from the Nurnburg International Toy Fair. So it would seem that 'woman with briefcase' is 'woman with boombox' and the red and blue mystery figs are a lumberjack and a male snowboarder, respectively.

A big thanks to Toys N Bricks for posting the link to the website Spieletest. Here's further proof for you future bloggers to always dig when sites are linked. There are several videos in the link to Spieletest above that showcase set shots for new Ninjago, Star Wars, and Alien Conquest. There are also pics below the videos which show the new Kingdoms sets.

I've linked two of the videos below. The first you must watch as it has pics of Series 4 and 5 plus all the Alien Conquest figures. The second video is a showcase of the new Ninjago sets and figures. Enjoy!
