Svelete, a Eurobricks regular, has an outstanding photo review of all the Series 2 Collectible Minifigures. Lot's of detailed shots of the figures and accessories. But you won't be able to find it on Eurobricks. No-o-o-o. Instead you'll need to go to Svelte's Flickr stream.
He also has a few mini comics with some humorous captions. Take a look when you get a chance.

BiM 2010 Avant-Garde Winner: Zombie Genesis
Although a few brick films associated with the Bricks In Motion Avant-Garde contest have been popping up over the past few weeks, I thought I might wait until the field was narrowed to a handful of finalists. It would seem that the judges have decided to cut to the chase and announce the winners earlier today.
The top spot belongs to Nick Durron and his entry Zombie: Genesis. Well technically it's 'The Making of Zombie: Genesis' but who's counting. A very entertaining film in my opinion. Enjoy!

Customs from Roaglaan and Catsy
I've got two great customs from Roaglaan and Catsy.
First up is Roaglaan with this helmet combo that really works. The helmet? A BrickArms stahlhelm. The visor? A BrickForge gladiator mask. Roaglaan also claims no modding was necessary. The two work together as is! Plus dig the custom decal.
The second item is a custom plasma rifle from Fallout 3 by Catsy. The rifle is built off of a BrickArms Lewis Gun and further modded with scrap styrene, paper clips, guitar string, and brass wire. Catsy has also added some glow-in-the-dark highlights seen here under blacklight.
Well done gentlemen!

Series 2 Update: Heads Up Germany
Brickset is reporting that the Series 2 Collectible Minifigures are now on sale in Germany. My Toys is currently selling them online, and other retailers are expected to follow soon.
There are also murmurs that Denmark and Sweeden are starting to see signs of these figs, but no details on which stores.
Of course when shopping you can always check the bar codes provided in our guides or by using Mobile Brickset using your Android phone.

Name? The Doctor. Doctor Who?!
Artist Ulises Farinas is back, but instead of depicting his favorite DC and Marvel superheroes as minifigs, he's turned his eye to Doctor Who.
Although I've only ever seen the adventures of The Ninth Doctor (Christopher Eccleston), there are quite a few familiar faces!

"Umm...you have a little Rebel scum on your face?"
Last week I discovered Gareth Payne, a fantastic photographer with darker sensibilities. He's back and has a little bit of that 'blood' left over from Boba's clown carnage.
The blood is actually corn syrup and red food dye. Gareth claims it comes off with a little hot water, just in case you want to add a little macabre to your MOCs without dying your Stormtroopers pink.
If you like what you see here, Gareth also has an Etsy shop where he sells prints of his work. Check it out when you get a chance. Some of his Boba Fett prints were featured last weekend at LEGOLAND California's Star Wars Days.

Tigerggyy Montage Poster
I realized that it's been some time since I posted any of Tigerggyy's work here. Then I came across this poster montage on Facebook and thought I would correct that.I'm really looking forward to the new product from BrickTW later this year (where Tiger is a designer). The latest I've heard, they are working to make everything just right. While you are waiting you can browse BrickTW's wares on their BrickLink store.
