JasBrick Captures GOW's Anya Stroud

The man is unstoppable...JasBrick's most recent is a rendition of the character Anya Stroud from Gears of War 3. Looking at the reference photo, you can definitely see that Jas has more than captured a likeness.

Check out Jas' other recent creations like Hercules and the Argonauts and Vambo on his Flickr stream.

Hazel Chromed and Orrange KZ Vest

I thought I might post this later, but it seems these items are in limited quantities so 'carpe diem' and all that...

Hazel has chromed up some custom Killzone and Gears of War minifigures featuring said accessories. Firestar Toys seems to be exclusive on this right now, and as I mentioned, quantities are limited.

But wait, there's more! Firestar will also have these Killzone tactical vests designed by ORRANGE. Pedro's United Armory is scheduled to have them in the US soon.

I'm hoping to have more on Firestar Toys soon, as they have quite the operation out of the UK. Not in the UK? Fear not citizen, they ship internationally too! Check out their site for details.

When Buzz Met The Locusts

JasBrick's Locust warrior with custom Buzz Lightyear headConsidering the shear volume of Gears of War custom minifigures that JasBrick has been posting, I'm really interested to see this mystery project he's been touting on the interwebs recently.

Here we have a Gears of War Locust soldier via the way of a custom Buzz Lightyear head. Although Jas has developed a couple of Locust warriors in the past, this seems the most true to form so far.

There are several other custom figs on his Flickr stream, so check them out if you get a chance.

Hazel May Bring Back GOW Sawguns

Hazel has updated his Flickr stream suggesting that Amazing Armory may bring back the Gears of War minifig sawguns.

Hazel hints that this may be the final time these will be offered. Gears of War seems to be on fire right now in the custom market. Head on over to Hazel's Flickr stream and put in your vote.
